GamePlay
Shootout

Each player from both teams throws 10 shots
-
5 shots on one target, then players switch and throw 5 on other target

Record each throw and add total
-
Next 2 contestants throw
-
Repeat until all 4 players from both teams have thrown

Team with highest score wins
-
In event of a tie, go to sudden death rules
-
Each team choose 1 player to throw
-
Both players throw 3 times on one target, switch and throw 3 times on other target
-
Highest score wins the game
-
If a tie results again, choose another player to throw
-
Continue this until a tiebreak occurs
-
Begin next game
-
Best 2 out of 3 wins the match

Start the match with a coin flip

Winner of coin flip can choose to throw first or choose which target to throw on first

Alternate throws. Each player throws 3 shots per turn

Both teams start at 51

First team to land on 0 wins - No rebuttals

Must land exactly on 0 to win

If team goes under 0 that throw doesn’t score at all

Rules and Scoring
Rules

Players must use axes supplied by Lumber Axe
-
Players must throw overhand and be behind the throw line
-
Underhand shots will not be scored, but will count as a throw
-
Behind the back shots will not be scored, but will count as a throw
-
If toes cross over the throw line before axe is released that shot will not be scored, but will count as a throw
-
Axe must stick long enough to be retrieved in order to score
-
If axe falls before it’s retrieved that shot will not be scored
Scoring

If axe is in between 2 numbers, the higher point value is always scored
-
All numbered rings are scored as marked (1-4 points)
-
Black ring around bullseye is worth 5 points
-
Red bullseye is worth 6 points
-
Blue killshots are worth 8 points
